Welcome Babcock Families!

I am honored to be the principal at Babcock Elementary School, a school that is excelling in so many areas! This is my 28th year with the district; previously I was the principal at Orchard  Elementary. Before serving as an administrator, I was a classroom and Special Education teacher at Orchard, Kohler and F.C. Joyce Elementary Schools for 12 years. It is a privilege to work with the great staff we have here and I continue to enjoy collaborating with the students and families in our community. I am committed to continuing the long-standing tradition of excellence we have here and we will continue to offer great learning experiences to every student. Here at Babcock there is a great tradition of involvement by students, parents, teachers and staff members to support our students' growth. 

I always welcome parents/guardians and community members at Babcock. One of the best ways you can support your children is to stay involved. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways. First and foremost, be sure to stay in contact with your child’s teacher. Don’t hesitate to reach out to them with any questions or concerns. Additionally, we encourage you to become active participants in our school through volunteering in the classroom, attending school events, and joining one of our parent committees (School Site Council and the English Learner Advisory Committee). 
 
My goal is to ensure that all children are healthy, happy and safe so they learn as much as they can and reach new levels of achievement. I look forward to working with you to ensure our students meet their goals and find success in all they aspire to.

¡Bienvenidas familias de Babcock!

¡Me siento honrado de ser el director de la Escuela Primaria Babcock, una escuela que se destaca en muchas áreas! Este es mi año número 28 con el distrito; anteriormente fui el director de la Escuela Primaria Orchard. Antes de desempeñarme como administrador, fui maestro de aula y de educación especial en las escuelas primarias Orchard, Kohler y FC Joyce durante 12 años. Es un privilegio trabajar con el gran personal que tenemos aquí y sigo disfrutando colaborar con los estudiantes y las familias de nuestra comunidad. Estoy comprometido a continuar con la larga tradición de excelencia que tenemos aquí y continuaremos ofreciendo excelentes experiencias de aprendizaje a todos los estudiantes. Aquí en Babcock existe una gran tradición de participación de estudiantes, padres, maestros y miembros del personal para apoyar el crecimiento de nuestros estudiantes.

Siempre doy la bienvenida a los padres/tutores y miembros de la comunidad en Babcock. Una de las mejores maneras en que puede apoyar a sus hijos es mantenerse involucrado. Esto se puede lograr de varias maneras. En primer lugar, asegúrese de mantenerse en contacto con el maestro de su hijo. No dude en comunicarse con ellos si tiene alguna pregunta o inquietud. Además, los alentamos a que se conviertan en participantes activos en nuestra escuela ofreciéndose como voluntarios en el salón de clases, asistiendo a eventos escolares y uniéndose a uno de nuestros comités de padres (Consejo del Plantel Escolar y el Comité Asesor de Aprendices de Inglés).
 
Mi objetivo es garantizar que todos los niños estén sanos, felices y seguros para que aprendan todo lo que puedan y alcancen nuevos niveles de rendimiento. Espero trabajar con usted para asegurar que nuestros estudiantes alcancen sus metas y encuentren el éxito en todo lo que aspiran.
